Meet Stella...

Meet Stella...

"My name is Stella Villalba and I’m a proud world citizen. I’m originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My parents are from Paraguay and because of this mix of cultures in one household, we all learn at an early age to embrace traditions, similarities and differences. I’m grateful that my parents instilled in me a sense of wonder, exploring and listening. My ongoing curiosity leads me to amazing adventures in the simplest of places.

I’m a learner and because I value what learning brings to my life, I’m an educator at heart. It’s my time to pay it forward all the wonderful things I have learned and received in 15 years in education. So you would find me working alongside teachers coaching them in their profession, or working with a small group of children as they guide my thinking in the processes. I love listening to people and their story.

I’m also an immigrant who found Columbus, OH to be an amazing place to find your tribe, your community that embraces changes, growth and support one another. This city is my pride and joy. I love sharing it with everyone and that’s why I created a blog called For the Love of Cbus, one city, many options, accessible for all. I’m proud to be a city ambassador. I want everyone who comes to this city to feel the kindness, unity and authenticity of our people, our entrepreneurs, our doers and makers.

I’m a reader. I’m a writer. I’m a believer. I’m a traveler and explorer. I’m a doer. And I’m a connector. This is my country. I am America." Stella Villalba

What an inspiration is Stella! It's such a privilege to have been able to share her story as part of the "I Am America" campaign.
